Hi Everybody,

What a busy time I am having. I have changed daycare and now go in 'Panda' daycare. I really don't like it very much but I am changing into another clss next week with my friends from 'Panda' and some other big kids. It should be fun.....

In my photos you can also see I have a new cubby house fromMormor and oldefar. It is fun to play in and the first couple of days I played in it even before breakfast. Thank-you to Scott as well for helping Daddy pick it up from the shop pre-assembled. I ahve also been enjoying playin in the back yard with my friends. I took a holiday with Mor and Daddy up to Skagen at the very top of Denmark. It rained most of the time but I stilled enjoyed playing in the water and playing with all the sand (and on a VERY big sand dune). It wasa nice relaxed holiday with my parents.

The biggest news is that I have become a big brother!!!! I have a little brother called Alexander who I think is great! I like giving him hugs and kisses and holding him on the couch. Mor and Daddy keep telling me to stop leaning on him though when I am trying to give him a kiss. I will put some pictures of us together on my page soon.

Hi Everyone,

I see it has been ages since I wrote my last update. Generally I have been enjoying summer in my new house. I also left 'Tomato' daycare and I have joined 'Panda' daycare which is a little closer to home. It was hard for me and especially my Mor the first few weeks. It is a different daycare and they do things a little differently which took a bit of getting used to. I was a bit sad the first few days because I didn't have my old friends and many of the adults were changing because of summer holidays. It is okay now and I am getting along just fine.

I have also spent lots of time at Mormor's this summer playing with her puppy Molly. I was a bit scared of Molly in the beginning but not anymore. Now I just have to fight with her over toys. She is faster than me which makes it a bit hard. I have been spending so much time with Mormor because first Mor went to America then Daddy went to America so Mormor helped out with babysitting. It was okay to be with just Mor or Daddy but I was VERY happy when they came home again. I told Mor that she couldn't go to America again. On the up side, they did bring presents back for me.

Anyway I have to go.

Hi Everybody,

Guess what??? I live somewhere else now and it is fantastic!!! I have a new bedroom with room for all my toys and there is a big painting on the wall of frogs, elephants and giraffes. It is upstairs and Mor and Daddy were a little concerned about me going up the stairs but I have no problems. I even got out of my cot the other day and came down to surprise them. I haven't told them how I did it just to keep them on their toes. I can even go downstairs in to the laundry myself on the steps that Gary made. Gary is one of my best friends and has all sorts of exciting tools and gives me little pieces of wood to play with.

There is a big garden outside with a paved patio/terrace that is perfect for riding my little motorbike on and racing my friends. In the garden there is a swing which I like swinging on with Daddy and Daddy put up a rope ladder for me to swing on as well. I also have my own little garden where I have planted carrots, broccoli and corn. I am very good at planting these things and would prefer to plant more of them then raspberry or blue berry bushes. Mor has even bought me my own little watering can to water my plants with.

The other exciting news is that I am going to be a big brother. I keep telling more that 'after the summer then the baby will come'. There is even a 'baby's room' in the house.

Happy Easter Everybody!!

It has been another busy time for me. Earlier this month I had chicken pox. Most of my daycare came down with chicken pox including me. I meant I had a week and a half off daycare. After I got over my the first couple of days I was very proud of my spots and showed as many people as I could my spot. I said 'Look I have chicken pox' and lifted up my shirt. I also passed on my chicken pox to Daddy who was sick for a couple of weeks.

I have also put some photos of me dancing with Daddy in my photo album. Daddy made a 'Captain Feathersword' outfit complete with a feather sword. It was great!!!

I am also moving into a new house soon. My room has a painting of elephants and giraffes on the walls. I have been showing people my room saying 'This is where Jacob lives'. It has a sand pit to play in and some apple trees I have already climbed in with Daddy. There is also a great place where I can ride my little motorcycle around. I haven't moved in therer yet but I play there while my parents work on the house. I will put some picture up when I move in.

Hi Everbody,

It has been pretty quiet since New Year I haven't put any new photos on my page since then. I have been fine and going to daycare everyday. I am getting good at singing 'London Bridge' and 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'. I watch a lot of Wiggles and Playschool so I have learned many from them.

Daddy took Friday off so I played with him all day. We made a snowman and took the tobogan up to Søndermarken where Daddy dragged me throught the snow. I was more interested in going to the zoo though so we went and looked at the monkeys and elephants.

It is Fastelavn (Danish Halloween) today so we have had a party in the building. I won a little crown because I hit the 'cat in a barrel' and knocked the caramels out. We also had a party at daycare as well. I dressed up as an elephant but I don't like putting the suit on too much. I have put some pictures in my album if you are interested.

Hi Everyone,

Albeit I am only 2 years old I am a very busy little boy. Since last time I wrote I have been to Mor and Dad's work Christmas party, had Christmas with Mormor, had Australian guest for Christmas dinner, and been on a ski holiday to Norway with the Jones's.

Christmas at Mormor's was fun. I got to play with my cousins and all my family as well as got lots of presents. The next day some of Dad's workmates came around and bought me more presents. There were also presents waiting and the Christmas tree for me from Zara and Zane and the Lembo's.

A few days after Christmas I went for a drive to Norway with Mor and Daddy. Luckily I slept for the first part of the 8 hour drive to Oslo then got to watch DVD's on the back seatof the car. The next day we drove up to a hut in the ski fields and satyed with the Jones family. Thatwas great! I had a little friend called to Gen and her big sister Maddie to play with. I also had a chance to ski for the first time but I didn't like that. It may have been the fact that it was -19 degrees the first day I did it. I wasn't keen on the tobogan either the first time but got more used to that before I left. I enjoyed playing in the snow though and rolling down the mountain.

I was very excited about my holiday when I got back and told everybody about standing on the ski's ('stå på ski'). I also learned to crawl out of my cot while I was up there too. I can do it at home now as well and drop on the bed beside my cot.

Anyway I am back at daycare again and my next month should be less eventful but I will tell you what I get up too.

Hi Everybody,

It has been another big month for me this last month. The big news is that I turned 2 years old!!!! I had a birthday party with all my family and my friend Simon. I got lots of presents too. The presents have just kept on comming too. The next day I went a Christmas Party with all the other Australian kids in the Southern Cross Club. Santa came and handed out presents and I got to play with Genivieve again. Sant Claus also came to daycare yesterday and handed out more presents. I have another Christmas party on this weekend as well but I think that is it for this year.

Mor says I am getting bigger as well and it won't be long before I am out of 'baby' clothes. I am also talking much more and starting to put sentences together in English, Danish and bit of both put together. Dad keeps complaining though that I don't sleep by myself for a whole night yet but it is just great when he comes in and sleeps in the sofa bed beside me. He doesn't appreciate it either when I turn the light on and say 'Wake up'. He also gets annoyed when I keep turning the TV on and off and change my mind about what I want to see. Anyway I have just been telling Daddy 'Bed time' so I better finish here.

Hi everybody,

Well it has been a while since I ave last updated my web page but what a time it as been. I went to Australia to visit my family down there. I spent time wit Nanna and Poppy and saw Poppy's cows, his dog Bundy and all the other animals. Poppy has chickens and I got to collect the eggs a few times. I also got to play with Aunty Kay and Uncle Pete in Towoomba. Uncle Allan got married to Aunty Sharleen and I met my cousins Daniel and morgan there. I also spent a lot of time at Aunty Trisha's and Uncle Bruce's and the Hairy Scary cousins. Uncle Bruce had a cherry tomato bush out the front which was just the best, I could go out and pick my own tomatoes when ever I wanted. Aunty Ann also had a baby while I was there so I have a new cousin called Raymond.

Apart fro visiting family I went to Mooloolaba and played on te beach, I saw a lot of different animals at Australia Zoo but te best was Lone Pine Sanctuary. I fed and petted kangaroos, goats and sheep there it was fantastic!! I even saw koalas, wombats and kookaburras!!

I spent some time with Dad's friends as well like Liam and Laney and Tim, Liz, Zara and Zane. I got to see Snoogs and Ryan and Nicky. I even played with Hairy Mclary at Ryan and Nic's and through the ball for him because I am a big boy and not scared of animals anymore.

The flight to and from was a little hard but I played on the legs to Singapore and charmed the hostesses. In Singapore airport they had a playground where I could play some more. I fell asleep on te next flights and woke up a couple of hours before I got to my next destination.

Wel I am sure my next mont won't be anywhere near as exciting but I will let you know what happens. I hoped you enloyed my pictures and don't forget to leave a message in my guest book.

Hi Everybody,

Not much has happened these last few weeks but I thought I'd write a quick message. I had Mor and Daddy down and daycare again recently for our summer party, that was fun. I have also got another scar on my forehead where I fell off the little ladder landed on the little coffee grill I was playing with.

I am going to visit Nana and Poppy soon and I am really looking forward to that. I will post some more pictures from that trip.

Hi Everybody,

I just had to tell you I went on my first trip to Tivoli last weekend. Roy came over from the UK so went on big outting. I took my first ride on a carousel with Mor and Dad. The ride was okay and it had pictures of elephants (pronounced 'elethants'). The best was the jumping castile nad all I said for the next few dys was 'hoppe hoppe'. Roy was also fun to have around because he played with me and my Lego.

Hi Everybody,

It has been yet another busy month of growing for me. I have also been for my first trip to hospital for a injury. I was dancing around the kitchen and fell and hit my head on the little wooden step ladder and managed to cut my forehead open. I even had the next day off from daycare so Dad could keep an eye on me so that I didn't rip the plaster off. I even got a trip to the zoo out of it.

I am also on holidays now with Mor. Most of the time we are just hanging at home or with Aunty Ditte and the family. I also went for a day trip to Øresunds Aquarium with Mor and Dad as you can see by the pictures. I wasn't overly impressed by the fish to start with and I kept asking for the monkeys and elephants. I got into it a bit more by the end but I really didn't like that starfish Dad try getting me to touch (see pictures).

I have also got a new favourite tv show, 'Bear in the Big Blue House'. They have a great 'Good-bye song' that I have started singing as well. I am also trying to sing the 'Rub-a-dub-dub' song but that is quite hard. I still like watching 'Bamse & Kylling' as well but they don't sing.

I have no big plans for the next week but Mor is on holidays with me. I'll let you know if I do anything fun.

Hi Everybody,

There aren't many pictures of me this time but I am still a little cutie. Daddy found my 'I wannabe a wallaby' shirt for me to try on. It is still a little big but I look good in it.

I have had a fun month this month. There has been plenty of time to go outside and play and I still love the swing and the slippery slide. I also went to the Roskilde Animal Show to see all the animals. It was fun and I liked all sheep, goats, chickens and cows even though I fell asleep before I saw the proper cow show. They had other animals there as well like fluffy white rabbits and german shepard puppies but they were scary and I was afraid to touch them. I don't trust fluffy things in general.

It is also strawberry season in Denmark and I was a bit sceptical at first but I LOVE them. We have a little garden in a community garden where we grow our own and I can eat them straight from the garden. The other people down there are really nice as well and give us their extras as well.

My vocabulary is also getting bigger and I am saying more words now. Most of my words are in Danish but I understand both Danish and English and can point to all the places on my face when either Mor or Daddy asks me in there language of choice.

Hi Again,

Finally the weather here in Copenhagen is good enough that I can play outside all the time with out always having to take my big jumpsuit on. I am also getting big enough that I cab get to the top of the slippery slide in our back yard and and day care all by myself.¨

We had an 'Art Exhibition' at daycare this last month and I had a painting and a T-shirt I painted on exhibit. My teacher wrote a little report about me and this is waht they said. " Jacob has tasted a real lot of paint. He has thrown paper, paint brushes, sissors and the other things we have used in our painting projects. But Jacob has now really developed during this time. Now he can easily sit and paint with both brushes and his hands for a while without needing to taste or throw the paint. Jacob now also knows what all the differnt materials are used for. I know it isn't the most glowing report but I am only 1 and a half years old.

Dad also found some more pictures from Portugal so he has put a few extra on that page as well as the new May pictures. No one has left a message on my page since my birthday so if you read my page please sign in to my guest book.

Hi Everyone,

I don't know what to say apart from 'another day another bruise'. It is tough being a little boy trying to explore the world. Mor and Dad can't explain all the bruises I have got but they know some of them are from me falling off of things I shouldn't be climbing on to start with. I even had a little bruise on my cheek the other week from where one of my classmates bit me.

Despite being bitten I am still enjoying daycare. The sun has finally come out too so it isn't so cold to be in the sand pit anymore. I love being outside now and the swing, slippery slide and the sand pit are the best. I have even learnt to slide down the slippery slide by myself.

The other exciting news at the moment is that I had my first haircut last weekend. My teachers had started making comments about they could plat my little mullet/rats tail/ svenske hår so Mor and Dad decide it was time to cut it off. I have photos of it Dad will put on next week.

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick diary update to let everyone know I am doing fine. I have been in the wars a bit lately and have got lots of different bumps and bruises but that is just how it is being a little boy out exploring the world.

I am having a quiet Easter at home with my family at the moment. I had Fiona and her parents around for dinner on Good Friday and I went to Mormor and Morfar's place for Easter dinner on Saturday. Oldefar, Ditte, Kristian and all my cousins were also there. Oldefar gave a chocolate bunny but I didn't know what to make of it. I also got a truck from my grandparents and some plastic vegetables for my new kitchen from my cousins and their parents. I will visit another friend, Rasmus tomorrow and back to day care again on Tuesday.

I hope you are all keeping well and hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Everyone,

My busy, jet-set life continues. I have just got back from a extra long weekend down in Portugal with Jen and Damiano. It was great!!!! The sun was shining so I didn't have to wear my big winter boots, my beanie or my big winter jumpsuit. I could run around on the grass and play and we even went to the beach one afternoon. I had the greatest time at a restaurant/bar down at the beach. The waiters played with me for ages and let me pull all the salt and sugar sachets off the shelf. I then went and danced on the table with the grown ups. I didn't want to sleep much doen in Portugal because I was havíng so much fun. Thanks Jen and Dam!!

Apart from my trip to Portugal, the other big news is that I am starting to talk. I can say 'Is' (the danish word for ice cream) and do the hand action about a song with ice cream. I can also say Da-ddy even though I am a real mummy's boy.

I had my first class photo taken today so I will hopefully be able to share that with you soon. Check out my other photo's anyway until then and don't forget to sign in to my guest book.

Hi Everyone,

Well as you can see I am still growing and getting teeth. This month has just flown past so far. It started with 'Fastelavn' which is a little like Halloween but Danish. I dressed up as a cat for day care but I didn't want to hit the 'cat in a barrel'.

I have also started cycling on the back of Dad's bike now becasue he has got a new job closer to my day care. I can actually reach the back of Dad's jeans from my seat but I better not do that too often.

Otherwise I have been a litlle sick the couple of days, throwing up and making a mess of my nappy. I means I haven't been to day care for the last few days but I went to Mormor and Morfar's palce instead and they look after me.

Hi Everbody,

Well once again another big month has gone by. I have still been getting lots of presents but this time for Christmas. I got a Brio train set, Duplo, my own little laptop, Hairy Maclary books, more cool clothes amongst other things. Christmas was at Mormor and Morfar's place again this year as usual except I was the only kid this year so all the attention was on me and I LOVED it.

I have also been busy going to a lot of other Christmas parties. I went to the Southern Cross Club Cristmas at the beginning of December and met Santa. He then turned up to my Day Care and gave me more presents. I also had a visit from some of the soldiers from the American Embassy and also got some presents.

The biggest news from the last month though is that I have taken my first unassisted steps. I took them for the first time when my Aunty Camilla was babysitting at the beginning of the month. I can take unassited steps when I want but I still prefer to hold on to something. In general I take about three steps these days before I think it is easier another way.

Mum and Dad also think I am a chatter box going around talking al the time. The think I have begun saying 'hej hej' which is Danish for bye bye. I guess I wil have to say it a few more times before they are really certain.

Tomorow is New Years Eve and I am going across to my friend Simon's place on Amager. I am sure it will be fun. I will try to write and tell you about it soon (and maybe add some piccies too!!)

Woohoo!! It was my first birthday on Thursday and it was great. I got to take the day off from daycare. People kept coming through the house all day and giving me lots of attention as well. Most people came with presents as well which they had packed in for reasons I don't understand. Once somebody helped me unpack them there were lots of fun things. I got DVD's, my own fold-out couch. a drum, a toy box/bench, some cool clothes, some cardboard boxes, books amongst other things. I also got a choclate 'layercake' with my name on it. I was particularly interested in that but the bread rolls tasted nice.

Otherwise I am still not walking yet but getting close.

Hi Everybody,

It has been busy times for me now that I am almost 1 year old. I am getting settled in to daycare but I am starting to miss my Mum and Dad when they leave. I like my teachers though and there are some new kids beginning which are also closer to my age. I was a little sick for few days again but I think that it is because I got 2 new teeth.

The big news is that I am getting better at getting around. Mum and Dad brought me a little trolley that is to help me learn to walk. I can hold on to it and walk around the house now but it is mostly in a straight line (check out the photos). Today I started walking beside my Mum just holding her one hand so it won't be long before I can do it myself.

Hi Everyone,

Yet again another busy time in my life. The big news is that I have begun daycare (vuggestue). I can't put any pictures of me playing with the other kids but there are a few photos of me exploring alone on my first day. I love it there! My teachers are Stine and Randy. There is also another little boy 2 months older than me called Jesper who I play with. The down side is that I have been sick. This weekend I have had a horrible fever and Dad needed to take the day off work to look after me today.

Hi Everybody,

Well it has been over a month since I last wrote and oh what a month it has been. I am still getting more teeth; I am up to five teeth now. I have also mastered getting around on all fours. What is more fun than crawling is standing though. I can climb up and stand on almost anything now. Okay so I have got a few bumps and bruises along the way but the practice has paid off. I can even make my way around the edge of the coffee table if there is something I want on the otherside.

I have also been down to Malta last week. That was great fun!! Dad dragged me around a few museums but that gave me a chance to sleep. The place I stayed had a pool just my size. There was also a ledge around the pool so I could play in the water and practice standing at the same time. There was also a nice beach with nice warm water where I could float around in my floatie. Mum and I wanted to go down there more but Dad was a bit of a 'stick in the mud'. While I was down there I also learned to take my cup and drink myself. It was a bit messy but in the hot Maltese weather it worked. I even got a chance to use the grown ups toilet for the first time when I was down there. I'll upload a few pictures of my holiday for you all to see.

Hi Everybody,

Just a quick update on what I am doing. I am still not up on my hands and knees but I think that is over-rated because I can get anywhere in the house already. I have a third tooth on the way now as well. It isn't one of the front ones put one of the top ones to the side. I am going to look like Dracula.

Otherwise it has all been pretty quiet these days. Dad bought me a present today, some new Hairy MacLairy books because those are some of my favourites. I also like my Elmer the Elephant and my book nana made me with all my aussie animals in. My Dad and Mor read them to me before I go to bed at night. Mor also bought me some Barbapapa cutlery so I have my own set. I guess I am a little spoilt.

Hi Everybody,

I have been incredibly slack and have not written in my diary for for ages. It has been an extremely busy time for me. I got my first tooth of 23 June and my second not long after. Dad was the first to find my tooth because I was chewing on his finger the day it came through. I have also got really good a sitting and crawling. Okay it more a commando crawl then a crawl on all fours but I can get anywhere in the house before Mum and Dad realise it. I have also been practicing standing with just a little bit of support.

I have also been on holidays with oldefar, mormor, morfar, my aunt and uncle and all my nieces. We went down to Bornholm, the little island between Sweden and Poland. It was great! There was a pool I could swim in and plenty of people to give me attention when I ever I wanted. Unfortunately I was a little sick and kept Mum and Dad awake a little a night but it was nothing too serious.

Since coming home I have also got my own room so I don't have to listen to Mum (and sometimes Dad) snore and fart all night long. I didn't like too much in the beginning but now I am enjoying it and starting to sleep longer at night. Hopefully Mum and Dad will move their stuff out of there soon so I can have my own pictures put up on my wall.

I am starting to enjoy my first summer in Denmark. It has been a little too warm for me but I am also a little Scandanavian winter baby. I have been to a few swimming lessons to help keep cool. I am not to keen at putting my head under water but I am getting better at it. I have also been practicing moving around on solid ground as well and I am getting really good at it. I can wiggle my way around the floor and get to most of the places I need to. Unfortunately though I haven't been sleeping the best at night lately. My Mum read it is because I am going through another phase in my life. I am starting realise what it is about to be left alone. Mum, Dad and myself are hoping it will soon go over though.

Apart from that I have just been hanging out with Mum and some of my friends lately. Mothers group came around my house on Monday for a visit. Today we had Genevieve and Leo around to visit to help me work on my Aussie accent. My Irish friend Fiona was also here.

Hi Everybody,

Well I have been back in Copenhagen for about a week now and luckily the weather has been okay so it isn't so hard to come home. It took me a few days to get over jet lag and my parents looked exhausted when I woke them up in the middle of the night. I think I have over stepped my boundaries though because I don't see Mum much for boob in the middle of the night, it is just Dad and a bottle of water. Boring! I think they want me to sleep through the night and not wake up wanting boob all the the time.

I miss all the fun and crazy people I met in Australia but it is good to come to back to my own bed and all my family and friends back in DK. They all said I grew so much while I was away. I spent the whole long weekend playing with my cousins, aunt, uncle grandparents and great grandad. A standard week of shopping this week with Mum but I am going to the swimming pool on Sunday and Mum said if I like it we can keep going on weekends.

I have to go to bed now but thanks for reading my page.

Hi Everybody,

I am up at Nana and Poppy's farm at the moment. I met their cows today for the first time but I wasn't as scared as Mum. Since com to Aust I have spent a few days with all of my aunts and uncles and met all of my big cousins. I have also met lots of Dad's old mates and some of the family friends. They all love my little cow suit so I had better make sure it is in my luggage when I go back to Denmark.

I have have also grown since coming to Australia and despite have a bit of a cold have developed a huge apetite. I have also started moving around heaps nad Mum and Dad have problems keeping me still while they change my nappy. If they leave me on my play blanket for just a few moments a can roll over a couple of times and start moving across the floor. It won't be long before I am crawling.

Hi Everybody,

I am in Australia now but before I came down here I stopped in Thailand for a few days and had the most fantastic time. The trip down to Thailand was a little hard for me because Mum and Dad had to convince me to sleep at the wrong time of day but that is the same problem everybody has. I arrived exhausted and all the Thai ladies thought I was gorgeous and couldn't help touching me and talking to me even when I was try to get some sleep. The 100% humidity was a bit hard for me some days but my parents kept me out of the midday heat. Luckily we had a roof top swimming pool for me to cool off in some days. I went to the zoo and saw elephants, monkeys and lots of other animal as well. The trip to Australia went great! I slept like a log all the way down even through security checks and a plane transfer. In short, I fell asleep in Phuket and woke up Brisbane. The people around me on the plane even commented on how well-behaved I was.

Anyway I am in Australia now and have met a lot of my aunts, uncles and cousins. I spent a couple of days at Nana and Poppy's farm and now at Aunty Kay's place in Toowoomba. Unfortunately I have got a bit of a cold after all the travelling and temperature changes but I am feeling better today.

I will write again soon.

Hi Everybody,

I am getting excited!!! In just over a week I am fly out to meet my Australian family! The next pictures you see of me will be from warm foreign lands. Hopefully they won't be too foreign though because that is where a lot of my family live.

I have also been practicing eating solid food to make the trip a little easier on everybody. I love mashed potatoes and all fruit mixes. I think I am also about to get some teeth too becasue I am constantly dribbling and chewing on what ever I can find.
